MAKE BOOTABLE PENDRIVE FOR LINUX OPERATING SYSTEM

Hello Friend I have already shared a tutorial how to make a bootable pendrive for windows, but now I am going to share tutorial about how to make the bootable pendrive  for linux. Before going to this tutorial let me explain little bit about LINUX.

Friends LINUX is a open source operating system. It is free for all the user just download and use it. It is also called as Ubuntu.  Linux has many distributions    like Red Hat, Black Hat, KaliLi,BackTrack,Fedora etc. and here I am going to use a backtrack to make a bootable pendrive. The latest version of backtrack is backtrack 5 R3. You can also download Backtrack 5 R3 from official website the link is given below.

Before starting this lets me share some information about backtrack. BackTrack is distribution based on the  Ubuntu Linux distribution  aimed at  digital forensics and  penetration testing use. It was named after backtracking, a search algorithm. It provide lot of tools for Penetration. So this is all about backtrack now I am going to show you how to make a bootable pendrive.

Step 1 :- First of all download the .iso file of any linux OS here I am using backtrack so I have already download .iso file of backtrack you can download .iso file from the given link.

Step 2 :- then Download the unetbootin software from the given link

http://unetbootin.sourceforge.net/unetbootin-linux-latest

Step 3 :- Now after downloading , you can open it.

Then select the disk image. Then click ok

It takes some time, then your pendrive is ready for bootable.
